About
Pottstown Business Improvement District
Founded in 2025
Established in 2025, the Pottstown Business Improvement District (BID) was created to strengthen and revitalize Downtown Pottstown — the historic heart of western Montgomery County. Managed by the Pottstown Business Improvement District Management Association (PBIDMA), the BID is dedicated to creating a cleaner, safer, and more vibrant business district that fosters economic opportunity and community pride.
Through strategic initiatives, partnerships, and ongoing investment, the BID works to enhance the experience for residents, visitors, and business owners alike. From streetscape improvements and events to small business support, our mission is to cultivate an environment where commerce, culture, and community thrive together.
Rooted in collaboration and inspired by Pottstown’s rich heritage, the BID serves as a catalyst for long-term economic growth and placemaking — ensuring Downtown Pottstown remains a destination to live, work, shop, and explore for generations to come.
